Embroidary weave Style
This is the weave that separates us apart from any of our competitors
in surrounding countries due to the detail that each piece requires.
The weave is made with a 7mm diameter core of the rattan to make the
inner shape of the decorative item with a 9mm weave to stitch together
the basket to give it a very unique high quality finish that is
desired in the west and only possible to produce in Myanmar due to the
labour, skill and time that is required to produce such a piece of
beauty.

Chest Weave Style
This is a weave that is more common to produce using the skin of the
rattan to produce a much bigger weave style that is common on the
majority or our chest designs. This weave really does look great on
large objects that are insistant on being the focal point of any
bedroom.

Core Weave Style
This weave uses the core (center) of the rattan pole which is common
in our beds section. The rattan pole adds strength and durability to
the frame to ensure that the beds can be enjoyed for a long time by
pets of all sizes

Rain Weave Style
This weave is a relatively new weave to Rattan Island. It is produced
using a mixture of bamboo sticks and woven with rattan to give it a
very sophisticated appearance. We now have a full range of prodcts
using this rain weave that can be viewed on our website in the rain
series section.
